In case you didn’t know the Richard Rogers exhibition at the Royal Academy ends on the 13th of october there is no time to waste, get down there !!!
I popped into the Royal Academy last week as you do and as luck would have it a certain fabulous architect called Richard Rogers decided to visit his own exhibition at the same time. I managed to fight the urge of following him round the exhibition enough to concentrate on some of the most incredible buildings that he has had a part in designing, including the Pompidou Centre in Paris and the Lloyds building. I marvelled (not at Richard himself) at the beautiful drawings and intricate models, as well as many objects which have inspired Mr Rogers. There was even a scaled down version of buildings along the river Thames which i was desperate touch.
I was immediately inspired to come back and make my dream house in Lego that coincidentally enough i had just been given as a birthday present…. the Farnsworth House, Illinois, USA.
